about me
q & a
If they made the Star Radio movie my part would be played by...
A slightly balding, much shorter Tom Hanks. Maybe.
If you were not a presenter, what job would you be in?
Is there anyone who doesn't think presenting Top Gear would be awesome fun?
If you could change any part of your body what would it be?
A touch more height would be nice.
Favourite holiday destination?
Anywhere
with sandy beaches. Simple. So Caribbean if I'm feeling flush, home
to Jersey if i'm not. Guess where I get to go the most.
If you could win any award, what would it be and who would you thank?
I
haven't the faintest. But if you're ever daft enough to win a Darwin
award the second part of that question would be a tad pointless.
(google it)
If you could invite anyone to dinner who would it be?
See hero question below. The man's a genius.
What is your favourite colour?
Just saying blue sounds a bit dull. Apparently my car is "Le Mans Blue". And that looks quite nice so that'll do.
When did you last go to the gym?
The what? "They" tell me there's a running track on the roof of the
building where I live. "They" might be lying though cos I've never
seen it.
Most embarrassing moment?
On the radio in Kent listening to different tracks off the air to the
song I was playing on it. There was some singing involved. As well as
a microphone I'd forgotten to turn off.
What is in your pockets?
Change, keys, phone. And strangely, 4 Euro's.
Who is your hero?
The guy who suggested Cameron Diaz wear a white catsuit for Charlie's Angels.
What is your favourite place in Bristol?
This is where everyone says the Suspension Bridge isn't it? It does look awesome at night though.
Favourite website?
Don't
have one. Though I wish you could be banned from using
amazon/ebay/play etc after a few drinks. The most dangerous time is
when you've had one or two. Sober enough to know it's going to be
expensive. Drunk enough not to care.
What is the most you've ever spent of a pair of shoes?
About
£140. But my sister got married last year wearing Jimmy Choos. And I
was sworn to secrecy that she'd also bought a pair in another colour
"just in case". In case of what, I haven't the faintest, you couldn't
see them under the dress anyway. My suggestion of "just wear some old
reeboks" was treated with the contempt it apparently deserved.
What is your most prized possession?
I
do tend to worship at the altar of all gadgets Apple a little too much
for the good of my bank balance. I like cars too. If only my car had
wifi..
What is your favourite moment at Star Radio so far?
Playing
cricket in the office was fun. Particularly after introducing the rule
that hitting a six had to be out of the (open) window and into the car
park. I think the balls are still there.
What was your last lie?
That last story if you're our health and safety officer. If you're not, err, I'm nine foot two. So that one.
I want to get started in radio! (Your tips?)
Make great coffee. Lots.
