
Following the success of last year's Brouhaha Comedy Festival in Bristol, the event returns tonight for a second year.
Comedians are going to be performing at three venues across the city over the next week, including the Hen and Chicken and the Tobacco Factory.
Some comedians will be showcasing their routines ahead of the Edinburgh Festival. Well known acts including Brendon Burns and Richard Herring, are among those performing.
Organiser Steve Lout told us:
"There are lots of comedy festivals in towns much smaller than Bristol and I just thought it was about time otherwise it may never happen or it may happen through somebody else. It's Bristol's only comedy festival but hopefully it will develop into the official comedy festival and it'll grow, that's the intention."
