City Recall On-Loan Striker
Akinde back to Ashton Gate after Wanderers loan.
Bristol City manager Gary Johnson has recalled on-loan Wycombe Wanderers striker John Akinde from his loan spell at Adams Park.
Akinde's loan deal was due to expire after the Chairboys' clash against Charlton on Saturday, but a busy January period has meant an early return to Ashton Gate.
The 20-year-old made four appearances in a seven-week spell at Adams Park, scoring once in the 2-2 draw with Oldham.
Wanderers boss Gary Waddock says "I would like to thank John for all his efforts during his time at the club."
