"No Trial" For Rosenior

Friday, July 9th 2010 00:00

Liam Rosenior

Former Robins player pulls out of pre-season friendly on the morning of match.

Former Bristol City defender Liam Rosenior has cut short his trial period with the club.

Rosenior, 24, who progressed through the ranks at Ashton Gate before joining Fulham seven years ago, had been training with Steve Coppell's side and was scheduled to play in the friendly against Aldershot.

But City assistant manager Keith Millen said: "Liam rang the manager to say that he'd been thinking about the trial overnight.

"For whatever reason he's decided that it wouldn't be right to return here and has therefore decided against playing. We wish him well for the future."
